Bangladesh Branch (WVPA-BB)
The World Veterinary Poultry Association - Bangladesh Branch (WVPA-BB) is the Bangladesh chapter of the World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA), a global professional association of poultry veterinarians and other avian health professionals. The WVPA-BB was formed in 2006 and is one of the largest branches of WVPA. Its members come from the academia, research, government, industry and private practice. The objectives of the WVPA-BB are:
To organize regular meetings for sharing knowledge and information on avian health, nutrition, hygienic management of poultry farms, and processing and marketing of poultry and poultry products to ensure increased productivity, food safety and public health.
To foster research in the relevant fields.
To promote the exchange of information and material between individuals and organizations for research purpose.
To establish and maintain liaison with national and international bodies with related interests.

The 5th WVPA Asia Meeting rescheduled to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 22-23 October 2022
The 5th WVPA Asia Meeting was originally scheduled to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 17-18 October 2020. However, because of Covid-19 pandemic the event was postponed. The meeting is now rescheduled to be held in Dhaka on 22-23 October 2022. The details will be updated in due course.
